Morgenstern 20th May 2018, 10:29 PM edit delete
You ask Justice why the church used to be against sex and violence, or why they might have thought the goddess was.

"Politics, I think!," she replies. "Or cultural norms. Something like that! People thought sex and violence were bad, so they assumed the goddess thought that, too. Things are different now."

You ask if Justice has ever been inspired or brought a new miracle from... uh, having sex.

She blushes a little, glancing slightly aside, but she keeps smiling. "I cannot say that I have! That... would be interesting. All of my miracles have come from extensive prayer and devotion to the goddess."

You ask about the bishop. Has he tried to... inspire her? Like that?

"Oh, no," Justice replies. "Nothing like that. I haven't really interacted with him that much, to be honest."

What about the other girls?

Justice hesitates, seeming to think about it. "No... I think when they had sex with me, it was for perfectly normal reasons."

The bishop, you mean. Did the bishop ever try to inspire the other girls by--

"Oh!" Justice blushes brighter, realizing what you meant. "Perhaps! I don't normally engage in gossip. It's very possible that he's attempted to inspire them that way! I'm afraid I wouldn't know."

Lastly, you ask if Justice could join you. You're currently on a quest to catch the notorious panty thief.

"Is that his only sin?," Justice asks. "Perhaps he has his reasons. Would it not be easier simply to... forgive him?"

Not really, because you've been framed for his crimes and catching him is the only way to clear your name. Also, you fear that he may be stealing panties as part of some bigger, crazier scheme.

"Oh." Justice gives it a little more thought. "Well, I suppose my services could be of use, then! I would be glad to join you if it means helping to stop the slander to your name, and to prevent something more nefarious from occurring. If you'll be taking me for very long, I will need to let the bishop know at some point... but I have a great deal of freedom to come and go. There's no big hurry to inform him, and he's usually very busy anyway."

Justice, Human Cleric has joined your party.

You'll need to decide who your active party will be going forward.

Does Justice want to help the world by stopping a war between Goblins and Slimes?
Tech 20th May 2018, 10:44 PM edit delete reply
"Incidentally, you wouldn't know anyone willing to boink a horde of goblins, would you?"
Guest 20th May 2018, 11:38 PM edit delete reply
Entertainer's guild.
barswanian 21st May 2018, 6:50 AM edit delete reply
+1 entertainer's guild.
+1 bakery guild. Let's get our friends cakes and cookies. And maybe there's a cute baker (either gender) to join the party and keep us in cakes. And also maybe they'd be able to make baked good concoctions with Ranse.
barswanian 21st May 2018, 7:24 AM edit delete reply
Oh! And thieves guild stop by, to see Mel.
K3001 21st May 2018, 2:55 AM edit delete reply
"Um, for a good reason! We're trying to stop the war between the goblin tribe and slime kingdom. It's a just cause. Yeah, it is a long story..."
Morgenstern 20th May 2018, 10:44 PM edit delete reply
You might have (briefly) seen an alternate version of this page, but I realized I screwed something up continuity-wise and quickly deleted it. I know, I'm a genius.

While I'm posting immersion-breaking OOC comments, though--I tried to hint at it, but going to talk to the bishop will probably be very involved. If you want to jump on finishing up other sidequests first, it might be advisable.
The chicken guy 20th May 2018, 11:38 PM edit delete reply
Ok, fair enough. Thanks for being honest with us and giving a warning. Comic is great so far.
Nieki 21st May 2018, 12:49 AM edit delete reply
Given this, I wanna cast a hard vote to go check out Threeroads. Thank you for letting us know!
barswanian 20th May 2018, 10:51 PM edit delete reply
I would like to keep Valley in the party. She might be handy should the lady prove to be dangerous.
The chicken guy 20th May 2018, 11:41 PM edit delete reply
I agree. We should make Justice active too, just to give her some ...does screen time fit here? Whatever. Plus we need to get on that cake side quest. I vote we finally deal with the entertainer's guild first, that way we can stop the comments asking for every person we encounter to fuck 20+ goblins.
barswanian 20th May 2018, 11:47 PM edit delete reply
Which I suppose brings the idea of Valley & Justice.

Tent time with them should be a romping good time.

It may also be helpful for Justice, to have friends nearby as she may be learning hard truths, and Valley seema the most generally friendly companion.
Jochi 21st May 2018, 2:26 PM edit delete reply
+1 Valley + Justice, however Rance + Justice the first night might let Rance finally answer the question about magic-using female juices. Also, limit to active party is Nast + 2. Is there a limit to reserve party?
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 4:42 AM edit delete reply
+1 For Valley and Justice, but get them separate bivouacs at first. Let Justice decide whether she wants to get involved.

Also, ask Justice to heal up Valley; she got a little scuffed in the fight with the Orc, remember?
barswanian 21st May 2018, 6:48 AM edit delete reply
Separate bivouacs require an additional purchased tent or an additional rented room. Do we have the funds for that? (Possible chicken purchase in future)
We could simply ask Justice her preferred sleeping arrangement.
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 7:26 AM edit delete reply
A tent has got to be cheaper than a giant chicken that eats whatever and reproduces through parthogenesis... Eight?
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 7:27 AM edit delete reply
I misspelled that. I meant "parthenogenesis".
barswanian 21st May 2018, 7:36 AM edit delete reply
I would hope a tent is cheaper. Room rental is probably what happens next, after whatever we do in town. Last time we rented rooms, we got multiple (non-active stayed in separate room). We could ask Justice her preferred sleeping arrangement, so she's not uncomfortable.
Fireopal 21st May 2018, 9:42 AM edit delete reply
+1 to keeping Valley and Justice. We have our tank, and heals, and us as DPS.
Guest 20th May 2018, 11:36 PM edit delete reply
Well...... That was disappointingly easy. Why are people so willing to drop their lives to travel with a person they just met? HOW POWERFUL IS OUR CHARM?
1977 21st May 2018, 2:10 AM edit delete reply
Not powerful enough to keep us out of prison, but more than enough to fill our bed every night with friends.
Guest 21st May 2018, 5:21 AM edit delete reply
We were arrested by an asexual guard.
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 9:32 AM edit delete reply
I'd assume we got jumped by a whole bunch of guards, who were "in the zone"; too keyed-up about finally apprehending the hated panty-thief for the Je ne sais quoi to have any noticeable effect on them.

Then we got alone with Valley, who was in a more relaxed state of mind (and had Minitaur mating instincts), and the rest is history.
The chicken guy 20th May 2018, 11:43 PM edit delete reply
Just looked at the stats for Justice. I have a feeling that her ability to speak every language is probably the most useful to us in the long run. Knowledge is power. (pardon the cliche)
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 4:43 AM edit delete reply
And for a cliché, it's a good one!
Cherry 21st May 2018, 1:07 AM edit delete reply
Rather than going to talk to the bishop seems like a good time to go to the larger church in town. Justice could ease interaction there, and we might’ve able to get support for her “work” beyond the church.

Also Mel told us to drop her name at the correct places for an “in”. Our goblin problem could also be an interest to the proper deviant around the city.
TheMightyDragonLizard 21st May 2018, 2:01 AM edit delete reply
We're obviously keeping Valley & Justice because... reasons... I suggest we continue foreword into town and find that Entertainers guild so we can get that goblin business done with.
TheMightyDragonLizard 21st May 2018, 2:02 AM edit delete reply
Also has anyone else noticed the lamps in this place look suspiciously like... sperm.
1977 21st May 2018, 2:25 AM edit delete reply
I vote for Justice + one other girl in the active party.

Leave the church and go to Threeroads.

Visit the Entertainers Guild so that we can finally finish the goblinquest.

After goblins give the KingSlime a heads up and get inspiration from her.

After all of that either Thieves Guild or Bishop.

I like that Justice practically admitted that yes, she had sex the other Clerics, but no never with the Bishop.

In the party-tab we get an explanation what inspired Nast's various spells.
Can we get the same for our other partymembers?
I would like to know where they learned their abilities.
Eyebrows 21st May 2018, 3:14 AM edit delete reply
I'd like to keep Ranse in the party. Don't much care who the other person is.
Krylo 21st May 2018, 5:22 AM edit delete reply
+1 Ranse is best girl.
Jeremy 21st May 2018, 7:45 AM edit delete reply
I agree with this, though I day Valley and Justice. And add honking justice to the list of tasks. Might get inspired with some kind of healing spell?
Rubber 21st May 2018, 7:47 AM edit delete reply
Why haven't we had actually sex with Ranse and her incredible sounding ass? Next time that skirt lifts up, I say we get on that.
Sonico 21st May 2018, 7:53 AM edit delete reply
+1 to that and then some. Both holes, if possible.
Fireopal 21st May 2018, 9:40 AM edit delete reply
+1 to sex with Ranse. She is so adorkable I don't know why we haven't yet.
Eyebrows 21st May 2018, 12:49 PM edit delete reply
We haven't because she didn't want to I'm pretty sure.
Barswanian 21st May 2018, 12:30 PM edit delete reply
Tbh, Ranse creeps me out a bit.
Rubber 21st May 2018, 4:25 PM edit delete reply
Nah, she never said she didn't want to, it just hasn't happened yet, but she clearly is beginning to become more comfortable after all that business with Valley at the ranch. Definitely needs to happen.
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 4:59 AM edit delete reply
Minor quibble about the Cleric under the Lore tab: Shouldn't it be "tenets", rather than "tenants"?
;) The one goddess isn't subletting to anyone, after all.
SKR 21st May 2018, 5:38 AM edit delete reply
Can we get some more specifics on how swapping party members works? For example, if we wanted to get the goblin engineer back into the party, would we be able to just walk into any town and call upon him or would we have to go back to where we left him?

Considering how many characters we've met so far, this would be much simpler if we had a pocket dimension where the goblin could set up an inn/workshop for all of our party-swapping and equipment-building needs. Maybe we can only open it from certain gateways found in large town centers and temples.
1977 21st May 2018, 6:29 AM edit delete reply
It's the first one. We don't have to go anywhere special, just think about the partymembers and ALL of them are there.
The first mention of this is here:
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 7:28 AM edit delete reply
Didn't it at least need to be a safe place, like a town or city?
1977 21st May 2018, 8:28 AM edit delete reply
Yes, but I think a safe place in the wild where you make camp would also work.
The most important part is that it doesn't work during battle.
SolomontheLionheart 21st May 2018, 10:57 AM edit delete reply
It was also done at the ranch, so I think it's so long as you're not in the middle of something be it combat or negotiation or whatever
Gallstone 21st May 2018, 9:33 AM edit delete reply
An amusing thought - we who post on this forum are in the position of that chorus of little voices in the back of a person's mind, advising this, that and some of the other.
We're the id and the ego to Nast, whose superego is calling the shots based on the vote! ^_^
Eyebrows 21st May 2018, 12:53 PM edit delete reply
...I'd think we'd be the ID and the Superego if anything.
SolomontheLionheart 21st May 2018, 10:09 AM edit delete reply
1. Party members: Valley and Justice. Obviously.
2. Start working on seducing justice, but carefully, she is a cleric even if she has seemingly slept with other women of the church.
3. Head to Threeroads
->cake for Valley
->mythril pins for Inzo
->entertainers guild to hire someone (let's finish this goblin business)
->thieves guild, get *inspired* by Mel. There'll probably be a sidequest to pick up there.
4. Head back to Goblin Village with entertainer, then Slime King for our reward of victory recreational mating
5. Head back to Humblestart. If we dealt with the fairies, then maybe we could get a reward for dealing with the monsters? Though we don't want to get caught again.

If we're headed back, we'll have to cross the bridge again, maybe something to do with the thieves there? Though we'll doubtless learn more from the guild.

And any chance we get bang more people to learn more spells. Also actually have sex with Ranse.
Fireopal 21st May 2018, 10:59 AM edit delete reply
I 100% agree with this entire plan. +1 to everything
rubber 21st May 2018, 4:22 PM edit delete reply

we should do the bishop quest at somepoint, but that can be way in the future. This plan, I think everyone wants the goblin quest finished :D
lil Joshu 21st May 2018, 11:33 AM edit delete reply
lil Joshu
Don't we have six party members now?

Doesn't that mean we can form two groups of three? (I at least know that's how some RPGs work. And then you get a front row and a back row. Or you can have a second group doing a grindy sidequest or something?)
Cloudy 21st May 2018, 1:47 PM edit delete reply
That sounds cool, could make for some interesting side stories, hahaa
