Morgenstern 26th Jun 2018, 2:07 PM edit delete
Your tornado and pyrestorm continue to swirl as you mull over the question. You only know of Neid... and Wargog... but neither of those sound right. This guy doesn't seem like the type to idolize either of those, does he...?

"It's. ...Alustra," Ranse says with some hesitance.

"Ding ding ding!," Cardvärde replies. "You got it, baby!"

Ranse gives a very pronounced sigh of relief. "The f-first... weapon. Ieverequipped. Was a dagger my... dad brought home. H-he bought it during a trip to... Gambel. He had... stories. Th-... there'sabigstatue. Of Alustra there."

Oh. Maybe Cardvärde wasn't looking at you, after all. Regardless, your party managed to answer the question correctly!

"Darn tootin'~!," Cardvärde continues. "An archmage that had infinite power, and what'd she use it for? To build herself the fanciest palace, and keep a harem of sexy partners! If I had infinite power, baby, that's what I'D be doin'! That place in Gambel's actually built in her honor--a modern attempt at the Pleasure Palace! Nothin' beats the original, though... at least, that's what they say!"

With a huge puff of smoke, you are given... a bunny outfit.

"Thanks for playin' Cardvärde's Challenge! Keep an eye out, cats and kittens, you might just be seein' me around!"

And then, with an even larger puff of smoke... Cardvärde has vanished.

"Please, if you all would confirm," Emerald says after a long silence, "that did actually occur, didn't it?"

"...Y-Yeah," Ranse replies simply. "I... I think so."

You cast Identify on the bunny outfit. It... is, in fact, enchanted. Whoever wears this outfit has increased luck, and can perform the attack Rabbit Kick.

It's... actually pretty high quality cloth armor, though the enchantments are a little niche, and the outfit itself looks kind of ridiculous.

Your pyrestorm fades away, with the other, less flame-filled tornado following soon after.

GS 26th Jun 2018, 2:46 PM edit delete reply

That happened. =_=
Um, Emerald? Sweetie? When we get to a town, would you mind terribly if we ask you to wear the bunny armour?
Bunny-girls are welcomed in most places, whereas slimes might get a few dirty looks, and the enchantments would probably mesh well with the brawler's belt.

Don't look at me like that. >_< I'm thinking of Emerald's safety, here!
(And I do not want to see Nast or Ranse in that suit, either…)
CruntKnockler 26th Jun 2018, 2:49 PM edit delete reply
Yep. It did. So..... Onwards?
GS 26th Jun 2018, 2:59 PM edit delete reply
Onward, onward, and onward. ^_^

I hope it's a onesie. I … can't really handle the thought of playboy bunny-style armour. *twitch*
xenonni 26th Jun 2018, 9:02 PM edit delete reply
There's a picture of the bunny suit in the lore page under cloth equipment for anyone interest. It's not a fursuit... which I'm not sure if I'm dissapointed about or not XD
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 2:54 PM edit delete reply
A bunny outfit isn't exactly going to hide that Emmy's a slime. Or much of anything, really.

Unless it's like the giant bunny onesie type thing, in which case it doesn't really matter who wears it.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 2:59 PM edit delete reply
Either it's a bunny onesie or it actually transforms the wearer into a bunny, like Cardvärde before... well, only one way to find out!
1977 26th Jun 2018, 3:06 PM edit delete reply
+1 give the outfit to EMMY, she can wear it to her AWARDS.
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 4:01 PM edit delete reply
I hate everything you stand for. That pun was terrible.
ZincFingers 26th Jun 2018, 4:11 PM edit delete reply
Can’t wait to see how a slime, a creature not known for their powerful legs, performs a flying kick.
Guest 26th Jun 2018, 9:37 PM edit delete reply
I don't think she should wear it as it will restrict her shapeshifting.
Gandalf 27th Jun 2018, 12:46 AM edit delete reply
And we saw when she got sliced by the cards that she's fairly damage-resistant as it is.

Maybe a good idea to investigate this a bit more, as was mentioned before: is she particularly vulnerable to fire, for example?
lil Joshu 27th Jun 2018, 1:11 PM edit delete reply
lil Joshu
There's a picture of the outfit on the lore page. It's a bunnygirl outfit, like dancer/playboy style.
Barswanian 27th Jun 2018, 1:49 PM edit delete reply
It also states it changes per gender.
Radiant Darkness 26th Jun 2018, 2:48 PM edit delete reply
I think his needs to go on Justice.
Mochi 26th Jun 2018, 2:50 PM edit delete reply
put lagrand in the bunny suit. especially if it's a sexy bunny suit. or dude nast. that'd also work.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 3:00 PM edit delete reply
Sounds good to me.

Actually, I'd like to see all of our party members take turns trying it on. We need to spend an update with our party gathered together and everyone taking turns putting it on with the others as their audience.
ZincFingers 26th Jun 2018, 4:18 PM edit delete reply
If we are going to have a fashion show, we’ll need more than one outfit. Unless we pull a Ranse’s Underwear and just wear each others clothes.
JiggilyJoe 26th Jun 2018, 4:50 PM edit delete reply
We should wear, and discreetly tell Ranse that we still have her panties on. You know that will drive her nuts.
Twelveseal 27th Jun 2018, 3:07 AM edit delete reply
Lol. I'm fine with a bit of a fashion show, but I doubt it will fit Inzo. And maybe not Valley.

Nvm, it resizes.
Decibal 27th Jun 2018, 8:29 AM edit delete reply
+1 on telling Ranse what happened to her undies. Let's see just how fast she can talk!
Twyll 26th Jun 2018, 2:51 PM edit delete reply
I'd like to see this on Nast! Dunno how well it'll work as a disguise, of course...
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 2:53 PM edit delete reply
Honestly, bunny suit should probably go on Nast with disguise ring or potion to help with disguise.

Otherwise Justice or Ranse as they both wear cloth armor and could use the boost.

Probably put it on Ranse for now, if she'll wear it, as it'd give her something to do when fire isn't the best idea.

In the meantime, lets get back to hunting fungus.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 3:01 PM edit delete reply
That bunny suit may be our best disguise for Nast short of usinga disguise potion again. Our current clothes are enchanted with Reinforce, but otherwise nothing special... so, Nast can put it on first, to give it a try? (And to prove to others it's safe to wear?)
Gandalf 26th Jun 2018, 3:32 PM edit delete reply
Yes, definitely: examine it closely, and determine whether it's any use as a disguise. Better the party appears to feature a King Slime and someone dressed as a bunny, than that it appear to feature a slime dressed as a bunny and a wanted fugitive.

In other words: I can't imagine it will be any use for disguising Emmy, but it might serve to conceal Nast's identity.
GS 26th Jun 2018, 2:55 PM edit delete reply
+ Known archmages: Alustra (lust), Neid (envy), Wargog (wrath).
- Suggest more research into the others; make absolutely sure they're dead, if possible.

+ Current operations:
- Gather ingredients for posterior enhancement potion. (Fungus, gargoyle dust.)
- Locate Stein Zwei enhancement ritual. (B-team.)
- Locate puppeteer to add to party and create a golem. (Go to Lightsend.)

+ Current concerns:
- Bounty hunters in play.
- City guards and royal Knights in play.
- Wanted posters in play.
- Lack of disguise potions. Suggest researching a disguise spell / acquiring better disguises.
- Identity of actual panty thief still unknown. Hope Delmora will locate some useful leads and get back to us.
- The coffin in the woods.

+ Suggested plans:
- Daily exercise regimen; build up stamina and muscle so as to be able to keep going when mana runs out.
- Research disguise spell. Not every bit of magic can come from sexual inspiration, we need to exercize our mental muscles as well.
26th Jun 2018, 3:12 PM edit delete reply
Any way to build up a larger mana pool so it doesn't run out so quickly?
Jax 26th Jun 2018, 3:21 PM edit delete reply
I say we burn off the last of our magic before falling asleep each day. Even if we have to wait till after 'inspiration'. It might help do just that.
ZincFingers 26th Jun 2018, 4:21 PM edit delete reply
Yeah I’ve been muddling with idea as well, right now our mana pool isn’t the greatest. Probably something to ask Lagrand or Ranse (or her father) about.

Edit: I also agree with getting some sort of training regime in place, not just to improve our physical prowess, but to give us an opportunity to play with new combination moves in a safe environment. It’s also good team building.
Napalm 26th Jun 2018, 3:47 PM edit delete reply
Does the "old" item have to specifically be gargoyle dust? Can it be dust from the stone statues in faerie land? They seem to be pretty ancient.
1977 26th Jun 2018, 3:56 PM edit delete reply
No, it is not really necessary to hunt gargoyles.
We can hunt demons instead.
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 4:18 PM edit delete reply
I still prefer the Entertainers' Guild over the butt potion. We do not want to cause a goblin population explosion, and we don't know if the goblin women want a butt potion. Getting into the Entertainers' Guild impresses the jester lady (inspiration?), gets us friends who know more about makeup/disguise, and is generally cool.

I have no objection to gathering ingredients. They will come in handy somehow. But in the meantime, we should definitely be talking to Ranse and Emerald about working up an Act.
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 4:35 PM edit delete reply
I'm more for the puppet and a goblin population implosion
Gandalf 27th Jun 2018, 12:49 AM edit delete reply
Yeah, it's been made fairly clear that the "old" thing needs to be from a gargoyle or demon. I don't completely understand why it couldn't just be a rock: they're just as old as any gargoyle, I'd have thought.
GS 27th Jun 2018, 8:49 AM edit delete reply
Alchemy works by bringing out inherent properties, right? I guess moving stone and evil outsiders have a quality honest rocks thankfully lack...
Guest 27th Jun 2018, 10:44 AM edit delete reply
+1 to the training regime and working on getting into the Entertainer's Guild.

As regards our 'old item', I feel most rocks wouldn't actually be that old, due to erosion. Everything in the environment changes with time, trees are cut down and new ones sprout, lands quake and mountains crumble in avalanches to change the layout of the world.

If we wanted something truly old and inanimate, then we would need to go to the appropriate place for it, like into the mines and proceed to dig deep down, until we hit bedrock or nearly so, reaching layers of rock so ancient that it existed untouched while the archmages came and left the world above it. And that's no easy task.

Or put another way - if I were GMing this quest for my group, I wouldn't let them weasel out of doing work with some cheap solution. They have to work on finding and obtaining something suitably old, otherwise it's useless as a potion ingredient.

With that in mind, we shouldn't look for shortcuts but honestly, genuinely, keep our eyes open for the really ancient targets.
TerraNova 26th Jun 2018, 2:59 PM edit delete reply
Ooh, ooh! Can Emerald wear the bunny suit? If she does the tentacle thing to instead make herself some legs, she should be able to use Rabbit Kick! Also, Slime Bunny Girl sounds amazing!
1977 26th Jun 2018, 3:13 PM edit delete reply
Just wanted to say the way they stand there with Ranse holding the pyrespewer it kinda looks like Emmy is wearing a backpack.
Dragos 26th Jun 2018, 3:16 PM edit delete reply
I want to see Ranse's butt in that bunny outfit XD
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:37 PM edit delete reply
Yeah me too man.
CruntKnockler 26th Jun 2018, 3:23 PM edit delete reply
So, in a bit, once we've resolved the goblin/slime dispute, gained access to the Entertainer's Guild (is that still necessary if we're making a Potion of Thiccness for the goblin ladies?), investigated the old, creepy coffin, checked out the pervy High Priest at the Temple of the One Holy Goddess (which, if you recall, Morgenstern says is quite a long, complex quest) and enhanced the Stone Zwei, plus any other side quests I may or may not have forgotten about, can we go check out the Pleasure Palace in Gambel? Purely for..... research. It sounds like a lot of fun to be had.
ZincFingers 26th Jun 2018, 4:24 PM edit delete reply
Even if the potion works, we still want in the guild. Earning our way in as entertainers was what Sweets said we had to do if we wanted her to join our party.
Barswanian 26th Jun 2018, 4:31 PM edit delete reply
And we should want Sweets in the party! She's a member of both the Theives guild and the entertainer's guild. She's likely to have a plethora of connections.
CruntKnockler 26th Jun 2018, 5:08 PM edit delete reply
Ah, Sweets! I forgot about her, somehow! To Threeroads! Via a whole bunch of other places, no doubt.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:42 PM edit delete reply
It does sound like fun, and yes we need to get into the Entertainer's Guild because we need Sweet in our pan-err, party!
GS 27th Jun 2018, 2:07 PM edit delete reply
Meh. The heat and the hunt are on for us in Threeroads, with both the thieves and the knights on our trail.

I really want to see Lightsend, learn more about Justice and recruit a Puppeteer, then build us our golem! ^_^
1977 26th Jun 2018, 3:53 PM edit delete reply
I'm almost afraid to ask, but did the bunnies leave any loot?
Two of them were roasted in the Pyrestorm so maybe nothing we can use from them except a thoroughly cooked meal.
The third dropped dead from the shock of seeing a speaking bunny, or from poison, something should be there we can loot.

Can we gather the cards?
They must be all over the place now, maybe we can salvage them.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:43 PM edit delete reply
Good catch 1977, let's have a look around.
Barswanian 26th Jun 2018, 3:57 PM edit delete reply
Bunny Suit on Nast if it can disguise at all. Especially as with the wind wand, he can get some good elevation. And a rabbit kick would do a good job of having an attack when mana runs out.
Guest 26th Jun 2018, 4:08 PM edit delete reply
Agreed. Nast. He can use the "extra luck" the most — to avoid running into random King's Guards and such. He can use the disguise/distraction of being bunny the most. He can take the best advantage of Bunny Kick. And with JNSQ, he can pull it off, and even take advantage of being bunny to get into the 'tainers guild.
Barswanian 26th Jun 2018, 4:14 PM edit delete reply
Yeah. That extra luck won't hurt for a number of reasons. If he also has the bandit bandana that could help!
ZincFingers 26th Jun 2018, 4:15 PM edit delete reply
I wonder how the increased luck and Je Ne Sais Quoi would synergies.
Barswanian 26th Jun 2018, 4:20 PM edit delete reply
I want to see that as well.
JiggilyJoe 26th Jun 2018, 4:46 PM edit delete reply
Agreed. As much as I want to see Rance's but in the bunny costume, (does that make me a furry?) I think the added luck and disguise potential for Nast out weighs it. I'm not sure Emmy would wear it, or really could wear it.
And who knows, maybe Rance is a closet furry and would be down for a little furry freaky-deaky.
Caydenite 26th Jun 2018, 10:58 PM edit delete reply
For first choice, I like Nast for the suit, standard VG RPG logic suggests giving your main character the best armour available to them, and he could definitely use some more luck. Also, the attack would be useful for saving mana, and Bunny-Nastiboi/Nastigirl would be cool.

Second choice would be Justice (If she's ok with ditching her religious garb), as protecting your healer is always wise too. Also, it'd suit her?

If justice isn't cool with it though, It could just maybe be flashy enough for Lagrand. There's a good chance it'd still let him rock those abs he's so proud of, and would probably pair well with his billowy cloak when he does Rabbit Kicks.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:55 PM edit delete reply
I agree with the general sentiment here, and the choices Caydenite explained, though I believe Ranse would look good in it too, and if it stretches to the wearer, Valley too (Inzo would be more humorous than sexy though).

I hope that Nast wears that during our performance at the Entertainer's Guild, that will make it even better.
ZincFingers 27th Jun 2018, 12:58 AM edit delete reply
The Lore does say the the Bunny Outfit changes size to fit the wearer.

Another interesting idea would be to leave it in our inventory, see which party member puts it on first.
Fayti 26th Jun 2018, 4:13 PM edit delete reply
We should make Valley or Inzo wear the suit for hilarious effect. Though a female Nast could also work.
ZincFingers 26th Jun 2018, 4:37 PM edit delete reply
Valley wearing it, alongside the Brawler Belt, would be a dangerous combination. Flying kick the enemy to close the distance, grapple, throw, repeat.

But, yeah, wouldn’t mind seeing it on Valley; and as hilarious as Inzo would be, I don’t think he’d go for it.
Guest 27th Jun 2018, 9:56 AM edit delete reply
Sand shark into flying kick could be absolutely brutal... I know valley is a warrior, but with her high damage and ability to close distance she would make a half decent assassin... the enemies wouldn’t know what hit them.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:55 PM edit delete reply
+1, agreeing with both you guys.
TGWMoC 26th Jun 2018, 5:22 PM edit delete reply
Since there are good reasons for so many people to wear it, and since so many people want to see different people in it, I say we share it. Whoever is planning to do something that would make it most useful to them for a while gets it, then when the party meets up again, someone else gets it for a while.

For instance, Emerald being able to do a paralytic bunny kick would be great, but it would also give Valley even more mobility.

On the other, not combat hand, Nast is a good option for its disguise potential, as many have said, and, like ZincFingers pointed out, the luck and his Je Ne Sais Quoi might work well together.

Plus, I personally want to see Nast and Lagrand wear it for, shall we say, non-strategic reasons.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:56 PM edit delete reply
+1, sharing does seem like the best option.
Cloudy 26th Jun 2018, 6:46 PM edit delete reply
The tornados are out, now. Get the cooked rabbit meat, assuming the other ones were real.
Ask Eme about the the bit of mass she lost, how does she get more? Does she need more? What are the effects of mass loss?
Have Rance whip up a quick health concoction for us if she’s able.
Ask about the use of slime gel in the pyre spewer
Write down in our notebook about this guy; the others need to be aware of the possibility of a rare encounter.
See if there’s any lakes ponds or rivers nearby;
You get different fish fishing in different places, why pass up the opportunity to check.
MakePeaceAndLove 26th Jun 2018, 11:57 PM edit delete reply
All good ideas so +1 from me.
The Chicken Guy 26th Jun 2018, 7:11 PM edit delete reply
It could be good for Sweet when we recruit her.
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 7:16 PM edit delete reply
I say that Nast puts on the bunny outfit, and he and Emerald do a PG-13 production of "little bunny foo-foo" as a way to get into the Entertainers' guild. Emerald would make an excellent good fairy, with consentacle wings. We could make field mice out of monkey fur. Ranse can direct and run the lights.

In the venerable tradition of fictional drama, we can collapse the rehearsals into a training montage.

I guarantee the audience will not have seen anything like it.
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 7:28 PM edit delete reply
I really don't think it's a good idea to bring a king slime into a town.
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 7:34 PM edit delete reply
"Entertainment enthusiasts from across the kingdom do their dealings here, networking with others in the market and getting in touch with major vendors. From tavernkeeps searching for a band to play in the bar to playwrights in need of actors, businessmen come from far and wide to see what the entertainers guild has to offer."

This is quite possibly the most bohemian town in the kingdom. A king slime walking the streets is not an everyday sight even here but especially if it's on EG business
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 7:34 PM edit delete reply
...posted prematurely but you get the idea.
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 7:53 PM edit delete reply
Also, I really don't think it's a good idea to keep Emerald out of all towns forever. She's naive and needs to see the world. There won't be a safer town for her than one anchored by the EG, or a safer context than with bunny suit luck on her side. It will let us gauge how people react to her in a relatively safe context.
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 7:28 PM edit delete reply
Swing by the Thieves' Guild first and invite Sweets to watch the tryout. People who know that they're making utter fools of themselves and don't care are very charismatic, especially in the eyes of people wearing jester suits. It's scientific fact.
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 8:04 PM edit delete reply
Note:That could easily include monster arena masters who might want a king slime.

If we want to test her in a town cast return and go back to Nast's hometown where most people still trust him.

But going into a city crawling with knights as a wanted criminal with a boss level monster is a terrible idea. We'd both attract the attention of the knights.

And again: entertainment could easily include monster arena owners.
G. Sansa 26th Jun 2018, 9:16 PM edit delete reply
If there are monster arena masters trying to kidnap people in town, they are human monsters and as adventurers we could have no higher task than giving them a well-deserved beatdown. But either way, I expect the EG itself is safe neutral ground for all sides.

If KS remains no more and no less than a "boss monster", however powerful, she and her kingdom are doomed. The way to gain the allies and healthy relationships she needs is not to stay in the closet.
Caydenite 26th Jun 2018, 11:06 PM edit delete reply
You know, I'm not sure we need to be as worried about ES going into town as we've been; so far as I can tell, she's unique. Ranse's dad mentioned that King Slimes are not actually that rare, and are usually nothing like her. I don't think people are going to immediately think on meeting a charming if odd young woman that she is a monster. Obviously, it's remarkable that she's green and slightly translucent, but that could probably be explained as a curse or enchantment. That might even be more believable to most people than a slime talking.
Krylo 26th Jun 2018, 11:54 PM edit delete reply
Monster arena masters looking to capture monsters is not the same as kidnapping people.

Further, Threeroads, last we heard, was crawling with knights. They were putting the pressure on the thieve's guild looking for Nast.

Regardless of how safe you think Emmy might be around normal people, the fact of the matter is she's going to draw attention, as she is a green, translucent, shape shifting humanoid. That's. . . not common.

And if we're next to her when she draws attention, it doesn't really matter how gracious the people are about the racial tensions between man and monster (and I'm willing to bet they'd be less so than you're imagining), that's still going to put attention on Nast as well and we're going to end up dealing with knights.

Bringing Emmy into Three Roads is a monumentally terrible idea until we can be sure that the knights have moved on from the area.
MakePeaceAndLove 27th Jun 2018, 12:03 AM edit delete reply
People might mistake her for an orc.

The most beautiful queen orc they've ever seen.

I also don't believe that we should hide Emmy, unlike Nast. Nast has wanted posters on all the walls, but the King Slime is a great unknown to the people. They won't know how to react. Trying to sneak her in and hide from people will just draw more attention through the effort we're putting into it.

If you're concerned about bystanders though, approach the Entertainer's Guild at night. Nobody said we have to do it during the daytime. Some shows must be ran late at night and I bet they have a guard posted there 24/7.

As for monster arena owners, I agree with G.Sansa - if they exist then we'd run into them eventually and we ought to ruin their business for imprisoning monsters anyway, especially if they try to abduct Emmy.
Krylo 27th Jun 2018, 12:17 AM edit delete reply
Again, though, Three Roads is currently full of knights. We received word that the thieves guild is being cracked down on by them and are looking for us too, just to get the knights off their backs.

REGARDLESS of how well or poorly people treat Emmy she's going to draw attention.

If we are standing next to someone drawing attention, we will be noticed.

With the knights in Three Roads and the Thieves' Guild trying to find us to get rid of the knights, there's no way we won't be seen by one of those groups.

If we are seen by one of those groups we are going to have to either fight the knights or be arrested.
G. Sansa 27th Jun 2018, 6:03 AM edit delete reply
We have a getaway spell, if needed.

Little. Bunny. Foo-foo.
MakePeaceAndLove 27th Jun 2018, 9:39 AM edit delete reply
You raise some good points, Krylo. Although personally I'd take that risk just to see what happens, my RPG sense agrees that we shouldn't go looking for trouble recklessly.

We do need Emmy for the performance, though. And so we'll have to bring her into town, sooner or later.

We don't have to go there right away, though. For now we can continue exploring the woods... and after that, how about checking out the Submerged Cave next? Or setting up camp for the night and going there in the morning, whenever it's low tide.
G. Sansa 27th Jun 2018, 10:06 AM edit delete reply
+1 on finishing the fungus quest first, and maybe the cave quest too if mana allows.

But I strongly believe we should deal with the EG sooner or later, and do so via a performance. Since none of us are actually professional performers, our act will rely on novelty. And we won't get more novelty than a magical JNSQ bunnyboi, a consentacle fairy, a narrator who runs her words together, and a shaggy dog plot structure that relies on a horrible pun. It's exactly the kind of thing Sweet would love love love (more inspiration, coming up!), and with bunny luck, chances are very high that the gatekeeper will feel the same.
Caydenite 27th Jun 2018, 11:20 AM edit delete reply
+1 to doing the EG after getting the fungus. It's been a quest hook hangin' around too long, and the reward is a source of perpetual dick puns, so should obviously be high priority.

And nearly all our party members are attention grabbing, A goblin in a mech, a sexy which striking poses, a Minitaur lady dressed for war and a well endowed priest are all noticeable. Adventurer's are interesting people, especially the super hot ones. Except for Ranse everybody'll draw stares.
Krylo 27th Jun 2018, 2:14 PM edit delete reply
Or we could just not send Nast.
Lapdragon 27th Jun 2018, 12:17 PM edit delete reply
We still have a disguise potion left, who says it has to be a bunnyBOI in the show - Nast could be a bunnygirl, and Emmy could probably switch genders for the show too if needed.

That last disguise potion reminds me - we should talk to Ranse or her dad about the rare-ish ingredient that the thief guildmaster is hoarding, and as we’re reasonably capable afield, we should look into working on our own private supply so that we don’t have to hang onto that last one for emergencies.

Radiant Darkness 26th Jun 2018, 10:55 PM edit delete reply
Since, I haven't seen it mentioned. In Emerald's lore under acid touch, it says she has caustic chemicals inside her. Granted that may not apply to external armor/clothing but are we sure? Don't remember if she has full control over that yet. So putting the bunny suit or any non resistant armor/clothing on her may cause it to slowly deteriorate.

I imagine she does have control, as Acid touch is a technique where she has to actively push those chemicals to the surface. I mean, we could check just by looking behind her and seeing if the ground where she walked is all acid scarred.

She doesn’t have internal control but I do believe she has external control.
She is not acidic to the touch if she doesn’t want to be
But put something fleshy inside her and her natural enteral enzymes will slowly start breaking it down...

I imagine it's not just produced on demand but kind of a natural instinct, too, like the moment something is put inside her, her slime body starts producing acids to dissolve it.

Kind of like taking a bite of a cake and then trying NOT to salivate, just hold it in your mouth.

... we're REALLY lucky that Ranse figured out how to make those burn resist concoctions, otherwise we would've had to spend a fortune on them. >v>

Were the archmages really all evil? Recorded history is frequently inaccurate.

Nast needs to wear the bunny outfit.

I am bothered by the implications of this elemental seemingly holding up a microphone during this scene. As in, we are being watched.

+1 from me on this. That's just one of the many little details about him that weird me out, too.

Wow. The pointing out of that little detail just made me figuratively shat my pants.

Why the hell does he have recording equipment? Are there people watching us in some 9th-dimension-type bullcrap, or is it a nod to how this is a work of fiction?

There's no lore entry for Classes:Slime King.
Guest 27th Jun 2018, 10:33 AM edit delete reply
Firstly, it is King Slime, not Slime King.
Secondly, that is not a class. This was addressed on page 148.

Collect any loot there might be from the madhares and get on with whatever it was we were doing. ... What were we doing before this distraction?
MakePeaceAndLove 27th Jun 2018, 10:37 AM edit delete reply
We came here to gather ingredients for the butt potion. And that's what we should be doing next!
Caydenite 27th Jun 2018, 11:22 AM edit delete reply
+1, lets get this thing done.

Gotta be honest I sorta want to see Valley wearing the bunny suit. The magic of the party inventory makes things one size fits all right?
1977 27th Jun 2018, 11:59 AM edit delete reply
Actually it's the magic of the suit itself that it fit's the figure and the gender of the one wearing it.
The inventory makes it possible for her to wear it right now even though she's in a different forest.
Guy Incognito 27th Jun 2018, 12:10 PM edit delete reply
Put Ranse in the bunny suit. Maybe she'll get lucky tonight. ;)
GuyIncognito 27th Jun 2018, 12:22 PM edit delete reply
From a more practical standpoint, Ranse is a 1 trick pony with fire. The suit would give her more combat options.
